The bars and clubs are plentiful and in general free to enter. Most bars have a happy hour and generally close at 1.30am, some clubs close at 4.30am. A lot of the bars have live bands ranging from rock to jazz. The main area for night life is centralised around the old town, however some of the best places are peppered around all over town, all within walking distance. So to get the best of what Nice has to offer travel around.
