Riviera

The French Riviera stretches from Toulon to Menton. The area has been well documented by several excellent sources that can be found on the web; information about the lifestyle, history, people and culture, and of course the excellent food and fine wines.

It has, in the past decade become even more accessible not only for the rich and famous to enjoy but for people from all walks of life. The low cost airlines have played a major role in shaping this region, unlike some places, the region has not suffered from separation from its rich cultural and diverse background. That's what makes this place unique.

There has been a massive investment in the region, which continues, from the large corporations, thanks to the Science Park in Sophia Antipolis. With this investment comes economic stability for the region. With this backbone and the number of tourists exceeding four million per annum, one can intuitively work out why this region is such a popular destination.

This region is not only blessed with endless sun and stretches of beautiful beaches but it has excellent access to the mountains and rural areas. These alone cater for endless activities and adventure, that in all make the region fun and full of energy all year round. Each town has its own agenda of events and in total there is never a dull moment; festivals, sports events, conferences are to name but a few. With all this there is arguably no other region in the world that has so much to offer.
